The new series covering Sparta in the Greek Dark Ages continues with kings Eurypon (son of Soos and namesake of the Eurypontid Royal House) and Echestratus (son of Agis I).
During the reign of these two kings, the Spartan state went through early reforms that saw emergence of oligarchy, as well as Spartan expansion into the Arcadian border regions.
